June Jasmine Htun
Attorney June Jasmine Htun obtained her Juris Doctorate from The John Marshall Law School in 2008 where she was a member of the Moot Court Honors Program and was selected to represent her law school in a national mock trial competition. She was also selected to serve as a research assistant for a highly respected Law School Professor.Attorney June Htun obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2004, majoring in English and minoring in Spanish. She is tri-lingual, speaking English, Spanish and Burmese. Attorney June Htun has found that these tri-lingual skills have helped her immensely in both her personal life and legal career. June Htun is currently an Immigration Attorney at the Law Office of Richard H. Trais.
Attorney June Htun has been practicing immigration law for a year and a half. She represents individuals in removal proceedings before the Executive Office of Immigration Review, Board of Immigration Appeals and United States Courts of Appeals.
Attorney June Htun also helps individuals obtain their residency and citizenship before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Her concentration is defending undocumented aliens and legal permanent residents in removal proceedings throughout the U.S. Immigration courts. She has represented and won several cases for undocumented aliens and legal permanent residents with criminal histories. She is dedicated to excelling in her legal career and frequently attends continuing legal education seminars and strives to stay ahead of the curve.
June Htun is a Chinese-American attorney who is a Secretary for the Chinese American Bar Association. She offers her legal services to several under-represented communities.
